Symposium Objectives

East Asia is rich in plant species diversity, and is one of the hotspots to study species evolution, biogeography and ecology. The main objectives of this symposium are threefold: (1) to analyze the origin, distribution and evolution of related taxa from East Asia, (2) to compare the change of plant diversity, flora and vegetation under different habitats and human disturbance, and (3) to forge future international collaborations in East Asia region, as well as other continent countries.
